This gives them outstanding transparency, making them as clear and sparkling as crystal, earning them the title of "the epitome of transparent light guide rods." Additionally, quartz light guide rods exhibit high-temperature resistance, with a melting point of up to 1730°C. They remain stable in high-temperature environments without easily deforming or deteriorating. Quartz light guide rods excel in optical performance, offering high-precision optical characteristics. Their density is 2.2 g/cm3, and their Mohs hardness is 7.3. In terms of refractive index, different grades of optical quartz glass vary. For example, JGS1 has refractive indices of 1.46669, 1.46314, 1.46007, 1.45847, and 1.45637 under different spectral line codes, while JGS2 and JGS3 also have corresponding refractive index values. In the ultraviolet and infrared wavelength ranges, quartz light guide rods demonstrate high average transmittance. For instance, a 10mm thick sample shows specific transmittance performance at different wavelengths.
