PM Series Abrasion Jet Testers

PM Series Abrasion Jet Testers are primarily used to determine the average wear resistance of anodic oxide coatings on aluminum and aluminum alloys, and can also be employed to assess the abrasion resistance of paints, varnishes, spray coatings, and related coated products.

The working principle involves using an air stream to project abrasive particles onto the test area until the metal substrate is exposed. The average wear resistance of the product is expressed by either the jet abrasion time or the mass of abrasive used.

The PM Abrasion Jet Tester meets the requirements of standards such as GB/T 12967.1:2008, ISO 8252:1987, EN 12373-10:2007, JIS H 8682-2:1999, and others. It incorporates multiple patented technologies including the nozzle, test bench system, and timing system, offering features such as speed, stability, precision, and high reproducibility.
