Wire thread inserts are a new type of connection and fastening technology that effectively improves connection conditions during screw fastening, significantly enhancing the reliability of screw connections.

Wire thread inserts are divided into two types: standard and locking. The locking type adds one or more locking rings to the standard design, providing a secure anti-loosening function for assembled screws. When embedded into threaded holes of low-strength engineering materials such as aluminum, magnesium alloys, cast iron, fiberglass, and plastics, wire thread inserts form high-precision internal threads that comply with international standards. They offer high connection strength, resistance to vibration, impact, and wear, as well as the ability to distribute stress and protect the base thread, greatly extending the service life of the base material.

Locking wire thread inserts feature one or more polygonal deformation rings that form a locking edge, providing a secure anti-loosening function for assembled screws while retaining all the characteristics of standard inserts. Internationally, they are commonly denoted as SL (Screw Lock Inserts), while in China, they are represented as ZST.
