High-grade plastic colorants are the most ideal colorants for various plastics, offering advantages such as strong tinting strength, excellent heat resistance, high lightfastness, resistance to acids and alkalis, and vibrant colors. They are widely used in coloring daily-use plastics, bobbin materials, industrial greases, paints, inks, and masterbatches. Some varieties are suitable for coloring and spinning synthetic fibers, polyester, nylon, and acetate fibers.

Application Range

High-grade plastic colorants fall under the category of oil-soluble dyes and can dissolve in organic solvents. They can be used individually or blended in various proportions to achieve desired hues.

Dye Application

When these dyes dissolve in molten plastic, they distribute in a molecular state. For coloring various plastics, a specific proportion can be directly added and uniformly mixed into the plastic for pre-molding or molding. The color intensity can be adjusted as needed. In transparent and clean resins, the dyes produce bright and transparent tones. When combined with an appropriate amount of titanium white powder and other dyes, semi-transparent or opaque tones can be achieved. The dosage can be negotiated based on requirements; typically, transparent tones use 0.02%-0.05%, while opaque tones generally require around 0.1%.
