Top and bottom cementing plugsare always used together. Place bottom plug before injecting cement, then pump the scrape to clean well-wall. After all are finished, build the pressure until rubber diaphragm is broken, and thus circulation is formed. Then inject cement, place top plug, pump, set pressure, and well cementation ends.

The types of cementing head are various as single-plugs, double plugs cementing head and so on. Double plug cement head is a special tool for grouting cement and releasing rubber plugs. Two rubber plugs can be installed at the same time, which can beused for both conventional double plug cementing and continuous two-stage cementing.
