Needle Flame Test Apparatus

The needle flame test apparatus complies with IEC 60695-11-5:2004, IEC60695-11-5, GB/T5169.5-2008, and GB4706.1-2005 standards. The needle flame test uses a specified size (0.9mm) needle burner, fueled with a specific gas (butane or propane), to apply a timed directional flame at a 45° angle to the sample. It assesses the fire hazard of small flames caused by fault conditions inside equipment by determining whether the sample and the underlying ignition layer ignite, as well as the duration of combustion and the burning length.
The needle flame test apparatus is suitable for research, production, and quality inspection departments of electrical and electronic equipment and their components, including lighting, low-voltage electrical appliances, household appliances, machine tool electrical appliances, motors, power tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, information technology equipment, office electrical equipment, electrical connectors, and accessories.
