Insulating rubber mats, also known as insulating mats, insulating pads, insulating gaskets, or insulating blankets, are widely used in substations, power plants, distribution rooms, laboratories, and live working outdoors.

Made from rubber insulating materials, the upper and lower surfaces of the insulating mat should be free from harmful irregularities. Harmful irregularities refer to defects that disrupt uniformity or damage the smooth surface profile, such as small holes, cracks, local bulges, cuts, embedded conductive foreign objects, folds, voids,凹凸波紋, and casting marks. Harmless irregularities refer to surface irregularities formed during the production process.

Features of Insulating Rubber Mats

Good physical and mechanical properties, excellent insulation performance, can operate in dry air environments from -35~+100℃ with high dielectric coefficient requirements.

Process and Molding of Insulating Rubber Mats:

Thickness of Insulating Rubber Mats:

Randomly select more than 5 different points across the entire insulating rubber mat for thickness measurement and inspection. A micrometer or an instrument of the same accuracy can be used for measurement. The accuracy of the micrometer should be within 0.02mm, the measuring anvil diameter should be 6mm, the flat presser foot diameter should be (3.17±0.25)mm, and the presser foot should be able to apply a pressure of (0.83±0.03)N. The insulating mat should be laid flat to ensure smooth measurement with the micrometer.

National Standards for Insulating Rubber Mats::

For 10KV配電室 voltage, choose 8mm thickness, withstand power frequency withstand voltage test of 10000V for 1 minute without breakdown, and breakdown at 18000V for 20 seconds in power frequency withstand voltage test. For 35KV配電室 voltage, choose 10-12mm thickness, withstand power frequency withstand voltage test of 15000V for 1 minute without breakdown, and breakdown at 26000V for 20 seconds in power frequency withstand voltage test. For low voltage配電室, choose 5mm thickness for below 500V, withstand power frequency withstand voltage test of 3500V for 1 minute without breakdown, and withstand 10000V for 20 seconds without breakdown in power frequency withstand voltage test!
