The cycloidal reducer is a novel transmission device that employs the K-H-V planetary transmission principle with a small tooth difference. The tooth difference between the sun gear (pin gear) Zz and the planetary gear (cycloidal gear) ZB is 1, i.e., Zz - ZB = 1. A double eccentric sleeve offset by 180° is mounted on the input shaft, with two roller bearings, referred to as rotating arms, installed on the eccentric sleeve to form the H mechanism. The central holes of the two cycloidal gears serve as the raceways for the rotating arm bearings on the eccentric sleeve. The cycloidal gears mesh with a set of annularly arranged pin teeth on the pin gear, forming an internal meshing reduction mechanism with a one-tooth difference.
Gear reducers utilize multi-stage gear transmissions to achieve speed reduction. The reducer is composed of multiple gear pairs. For example, using a small gear to drive a large gear can achieve a certain degree of speed reduction. By employing multiple stages of such structures, the rotational speed can be significantly reduced.
