Infrared Tube Layout

Due to the separate power supply on site, an interval arrangement of far-infrared heating tubes is adopted. When one shared transformer stops supplying power, an independently powered transformer can complete the heating process alone, albeit with an extended heating time.

Far-infrared heating tubes are arranged on both sides of the tunnel kiln. 

The heating power is 290 kW, using 1.2 kW far-infrared heating tubes per unit, requiring multiple far-infrared heating tubes in total.

A multi-circuit power supply method is used, with 24 far-infrared heating tubes per circuit.

A delta connection power supply is adopted, with multiple far-infrared heating tubes per phase.

Multiple far-infrared heating tubes are arranged on each side inside the tunnel kiln.

Multiple heating circuits are installed on each side, with each circuit connected to the kiln body using high-temperature wires, and the terminal blocks are located on the outside of the tunnel kiln.

Heating power per circuit

Far-infrared radiation is collectively referred to as far-infrared rays, discovered in the 19th century and practically applied in production and daily life in the 1940s. Since far-infrared rays have more absorption bands in most organic substances, inorganic substances, and polymer materials containing moisture, their heating and drying effects are significant. From the 1970s onward, far-infrared heating has been widely used in industry, agriculture, and human life.

Infrared rays are easily absorbed by objects and possess characteristics such as radiation, penetration, and a special affinity for polar substances like water molecules due to electromagnetic waves. They penetrate deep into the material, converting into the internal energy of the object, enabling the object to acquire the thermal energy required for drying in a very short time. The simultaneous internal and external action is more effective, removing bound water from the material to achieve an ideal drying effect, thereby avoiding energy loss caused by heating media and contributing to energy conservation. At the same time, infrared rays are easy to generate, offer good controllability, rapid heating, and short drying times. The wavelength range of infrared rays is approximately 0.75 to 1000 μm, named for their wavelength being outside that of red light (about 0.6 to 0.75 μm). In conventional industrial thermal applications, infrared rays are the primary thermal radiation.
