Passivation Solution Introduction: SUS416 Y12Cr13 Y1Cr13 stainless iron materials have weak rust resistance and poor salt spray test performance. Passivation is required to enhance the product's rust resistance and meet the salt spray test requirements. After treatment with Jiayimei brand stainless iron passivation solution JYM-100, the product undergoes original color passivation. Depending on the material and process, it can achieve neutral salt spray test results of 24 to 96 hours. It is widely applicable for surface passivation and salt spray rust prevention treatment of stainless steel 400 series, 500 series, and 600 series, including stainless steel plates, wires, profiles, bars, pipes, stampings, fasteners, precision castings, castings, sandblasted parts, wire-drawn parts, turned parts, stretched parts, and forged parts.

Operation Method:

1. Degreasing: Use Jiayimei brand rapid cleaner to remove invisible oxides, dust, etc., from the product surface. Soak in the original solution for about 1–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.

2. Passivation Process: Heat the stainless iron passivation solution to 75±5°C, soak the product in the original solution for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.    

3. Stabilizer: Heat the stabilizer to about 65°C, soak the product in the original solution for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.

4. Neutralization: The purpose of neutralization is to rinse off any residual acid on the product surface. Prepare the neutralization solution by mixing sodium carbonate with water at a ratio of 3-8.
