Copper Oxide Ore Activator (Ethylenediamine Phosphate) This activator has a good activation effect on the flotation of mixed oxide-sulfide copper and oxide copper ores.

Appearance of Ethylenediamine Phosphate: Liquid, easily soluble in water, slightly acidic, insoluble impurities less than 0.004%.

This reagent is added directly. The dosage range is generally around 200–600 g/t of raw ore (depending on the ore structure), usually added at the primary ball mill inlet. The flotation pulp alkalinity should be controlled at around pH=8.5. This activator, when used in combination with LF-A, LF-2, LF-28, and collectors, can produce a synergistic effect, achieving improved flotation indicators and reduced reagent consumption. This activator is particularly effective for refractory copper oxide ores with low recovery rates, high oxidation rates, high combination rates, and high mud content. It also improves the flotation indicators of easily floatable copper oxide ores. Features: The product is synthesized from isomers of branched-chain organic amines reacted with various surfactants. It activates combined copper and sulfide copper, has no collecting properties, appears as white crystalline particles, and is essentially odorless; effective activity ranges from 65% to 80%, insoluble in water, solubility is 1-2%, non-toxic, non-corrosive, and flame-retardant. Dosage ranges from 500 g to 1000 g/T, typically added partially at the ball mill inlet, partially in the agitation tank, and partially in the flotation cell. The product is highly effective in activating the flotation of combined copper ores, smelting copper slags such as oxide combined copper, chrysocolla, cuprite, malachite, azurite, sulfide copper, and other minerals. On average, it can increase metal recovery by 3-7%.

Ethylenediamine Phosphate is convenient to use and can be applied without altering the original production process of the plant. During flotation, it offers advantages such as stable froth layer and ease of operation. If precipitation occurs due to climatic temperature changes, it does not affect quality. The precipitate can be removed and diluted with water to a 2-3% concentration for use.
