【Product Uses】
Propanal is an important raw material for fine chemicals, primarily used in the production of intermediates such as n-propanol, propionic acid, trimethylolethane, and propanal oxime. These intermediates are further utilized in the manufacture of alkyd resins, agricultural herbicides and insecticides, pharmaceuticals like meprobamate and ethiazide, and are widely applied in the production of fine chemicals for coatings, plastics, food, light textiles, feed, and rubber additives. It can also serve as a chain terminator in ethylene polymerization.
