Overview/Principle
The SL-DM3000 can be easily installed on dust collectors or baghouses without calibration, meeting "plug-and-play" requirements. The reliable sensor probe is mounted at the outlet of the dust collector's flue gas duct. When dust particles pass near the probe, a weak charge signal is detected and transmitted via a special coaxial cable to the control unit. This signal is processed by the control unit to output an absolute value linearly proportional to the particulate mass concentration, displaying the particulate content or alarm locally and providing a 4-20mA output.

In practical applications, to avoid interference from conductive dust, condensate mist, or water mist affecting the measurement signal, we provide proprietary probe protection technology to ensure normal operation under these harsh conditions. The sensor probe requires no air purge and is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant.

LCD Bar Graph Indication
A semi-circular bar graph displays the particulate leakage level on a logarithmic (or linear) scale in real time. When the particulate concentration exceeds the set pre-alarm and alarm points, "Alarm" and "Pre-Alarm" signals will light up. If the reading changes too quickly, a small segment of the bar graph will display at the peak to facilitate operator reading.

Alarm and Signal Output
During normal operation of the dust collector, two different particulate emission levels typically occur: a lower emission level and a higher emission level. The lower emission level represents the baseline emissions during normal dust collection (which accounts for most of the operation time), while the higher emission level usually occurs during pulse-jet cleaning. The DM30 allows users to set alarm points for increases in baseline low emissions, high emissions during cleaning, or both. Users can set a delay time (0-60 seconds) via the keyboard to avoid false alarms, while the 4-20mA output signal is transmitted to the monitoring room for remote supervision.
