Mining machinery operations are used for mining, mineral processing, and other activities, playing a crucial role in the development of the national economy. It is one of the key equipment manufacturing industries that provides machinery for the extraction and processing of solid raw materials, materials, and fuels. Typically, it serves important basic industrial sectors such as ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, coal, building materials, power generation, chemical industry, and nuclear industry. Processed products are also widely used in the infrastructure construction of transportation, railways, construction, water conservancy, and hydropower sectors.

The primary and essential process in mining includes the crushing production of sand and gravel. Among the various complete sets of equipment for producing crushed stone, it generally consists of the following major parts:

I. Feeding System

In a typical crushed stone production line, the feed material is transported by trucks to a storage bin. The material from the bin is then continuously, evenly, and steadily conveyed to the crusher for crushing by an electromagnetic vibrating feeder.

II. Crushing System

The crushing system is the core part of a crushed stone production line, generally divided into several stages: primary crushing, secondary and fine crushing, and sand making. Primary crushing, or the first stage of crushing, typically uses a jaw crusher. Secondary and fine crushing, the second and third stages, can employ equipment such as cone crushers or impact crushers. If the raw material consists of high-hardness stones like granite, basalt, or river pebbles, a cone crusher is suitable for secondary crushing. If the raw material is very hard and the production line requires high output, a combination of single-cylinder and multi-cylinder cone crushers can be used to improve the overall efficiency of the line. For medium to low hardness stones like limestone or calcite, an impact crusher can be chosen for secondary crushing. The stone material is evenly fed by a vibrating feeder to the jaw crusher for primary crushing. After primary crushing, the material is conveyed by a belt conveyor to the secondary crusher for further crushing. The finely crushed material is then transported to a vibrating screen for screening. Material that does not meet the required particle size is sent from the vibrating screen back to the crusher for reprocessing, forming a closed-circuit cycle that repeats multiple times.

III. Sand Making System

After crushing with cone crushers or impact crushers, different specifications of crushed stone can be produced and screened. If the goal is to simultaneously produce manufactured sand, a sand making equipment stage can be added after secondary crushing. If a wet sand making process is selected, material that meets the required particle size is sent to a sand washer for cleaning. After washing, the cleaned material is conveyed by a finished product belt as the final product.
