10AA25 U-Tube Manometer

The Meriam 10AA25 U-Tube Manometer is a versatile and economical instrument for measuring pressure, vacuum, or differential pressure.

The U-tube manometer is the primary fundamental standard for pressure measurement.

Pressure measurement is achieved by balancing the vertical head of the indicating liquid against the pressure to be measured. Since the manometer has no cams, gears, or levers, the readings are always accurate.



Model 10AA25 Construction

The manometer features a sturdy cast aluminum body frame with a three-sided protective glass U-tube. The frame includes mounting holes for installation on walls, columns, or other suitable structures.

The cleanout head at the top of the instrument seals the indicating legs and also provides external pressure connections for the manometer.

The manometer head is secured to the body with a nut, allowing for quick and easy removal when necessary. Meriam's unique cleanout head feature enables cleaning and filling of the U-tube without cutting the head piping. Standard configuration includes an internal threaded pipe connection on both the left and right sides of the cleanout head. Pressure connections can also be provided at the rear or top of the manometer head as needed. For highly corrosive applications, stainless steel or PVC cleanout heads are available.

The manometer scale is located between the legs, aligned with the legs for easy reading at the meniscus position.

The scale can be adjusted at any time to zero the indicating liquid level.

The simple design for supporting and sealing the U-tube allows for easy field replacement of the tube.
