Druck UPS4E Loop Calibrator

The Druck UPS4E Loop Calibrator is a rugged, extremely compact loop calibrator that can be operated with one hand. With its small size, the UPS4E fits in the top pocket of overalls and is the latest product in Druck's "UPS" series, succeeding the well-loved UPS-II and UPS-III. It is an essential tool for loop testing/powering of process control milliamp loops and milliamp devices. It is ideal for instrument maintenance, featuring an easy-to-read display and simple, time-saving functions including step, range, and valve checks. Technical Specifications

Display
The graphical display is ruggedly designed with a high-contrast backlight, ensuring clear readability even in sunlight. The device displays the primary measurement and percentage of full scale (FS) reading.
Measurement or Sourcing 0 to 24 mA
Both measurement and sourcing modes can utilize the internal 24V loop power supply, which is crucial during plant shutdowns. In sourcing mode, the current is actively controlled by the UPS4E.
In measurement mode, the current is controlled by the external device under test.

Synchronized % Reading
Displays mA as well as percentage values for 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 20 mA ranges.

Step/Ramp Mode, Valve Travel Test
Rapid stepping and zero/full scale adjustments in linear tests. In valve mode, it checks valve travel and tests travel values.

Auto Step/Ramp Mode Output
Output intervals adjustable from 1 to 599 seconds, completing loop, valve setup, and travel checks.

"Quick Set" Output
Allows setting values within 0.001 mA using keys. Holding a key quickly increases the output to the next set value.
This feature is ideal for alarm trip testing.

30 VDC Measurement
Used for loop diagnostics and maintenance of voltage output instruments.

Data Logging
Capable of logging over 100,000 data points from the main reading channel. Users can manually activate it via the setup menu and configure user-defined time intervals through the display.
Data files can be transferred to a PC for further analysis.
