Property and Uses

EDTMP•Na5 is a neutral product, an ammonia-containing organic polyphosphonate, classified as a cathodic corrosion inhibitor; It is miscible with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with good chemical stability and temperature resistance, maintaining good scale resistance even at 200°C; In aqueous solution, it can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions, thus chelating multiple metal ions to form multiple monomer large molecular network complexes that are loosely dispersed in water, disrupting normal calcium crystallization.
(1) EDTMP sodium salt has excellent anti-scaling effect against calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale;
(2) Solid products have slight moisture absorption, making them convenient for transportation and use in cold conditions.
(3) Used as corrosion inhibitors and scale inhibitors for circulating water and boiler water, complexing agents for cyanide-free electroplating, water softeners for dyeing and printing industries, and cooling water treatment in power plants.

Packaging and storage

(1) Liquids are packaged in plastic barrels, each weighing 25KG or 250KG; solids are packed in plastic bags lined with polyethylene, with a net weight of 25KG per bag or determined according to user requirements.
(2) Store indoors in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture. The solid storage period is ten months, and the liquid storage period is twelve months.
