II. Working Principle of the Pneumatic Conveying Blow Tank

In the pneumatic conveying process, the blow tank plays a crucial role. The specific working process can be broadly divided into the following three steps:

Process 1: Feeding. Material first enters the blow tank body through the feed inlet. Feeding is typically completed via an automated feeding device (conveyor), but manual feeding is also possible. When the material level in the tank reaches a certain point, the feeding action is completed.

Process 2: Fluidization. During the material conveying stage, compressed air enters the blow tank body through a fluidization device at the bottom (such as an aeration pad or fluidizing nozzle). The fluidization device ensures that compressed air is evenly distributed at the bottom of the material, causing it to become fluidized. In this fluidized state, the material can flow like a liquid under the push of air pressure.

Process 3: Conveying. After the material is fluidized, the discharge valve opens. The internal pressure of the tank is higher than that in the conveying pipeline. Under the action of the pressure differential, the fluidized material is pushed into the conveying pipeline. Within the pipeline, the material is conveyed as a gas-solid two-phase flow, meaning the material particles are suspended in the air stream and move forward with the airflow, eventually reaching the destination.
