 ## I. Pre-Treatment System Maintenance 

### Raw Water Tank Maintenance Regularly inspect the liquid level gauge of the raw water tank to ensure it accurately displays the water level, preventing overflow or empty tank conditions due to gauge failure. Clean the interior of the raw water tank monthly to remove accumulated debris and sediment, and check the tank's sealing to prevent leakage. Inspect the pipes and valves connected to the raw water tank to ensure there are no blockages or leaks.

 ### Multi-Media Filter Maintenance The multi-media filter should undergo regular backwashing, typically 1-2 times per week, adjusted based on the influent water quality and the pressure difference before and after the filter. Control the intensity and duration of backwashing to avoid loss of filter media. Inspect the filter media layer quarterly; if the media is reduced or unevenly distributed, replenish and rearrange it promptly. Additionally, check the water distribution and collection devices of the filter to ensure even water flow distribution. ##

# Activated Carbon Filter Maintenance For the activated carbon filter, check the pressure difference weekly and perform backwashing as needed. Activated carbon has a limited service life; test its adsorption efficiency for residual chlorine, organic matter, etc., every 3-6 months, and replace the activated carbon if necessary. Inspect the internal structure of the activated carbon filter to ensure it is secure and prevent deformation due to the weight of the activated carbon.

 ## II. Softening System Maintenance

 ### Ion Exchange Resin Maintenance Ion exchange resin is key to softening. Regularly test the hardness of the softened water; when hardness exceeds standards, the resin may be nearing saturation and require regeneration. The regeneration cycle depends on the influent hardness and treated water volume, typically every 2-3 days or shorter. During regeneration, strictly control the concentration, dosage, and flow rate of the regenerant (e.g., sodium chloride solution). After each regeneration, check the flatness and height of the resin layer to prevent resin loss or local accumulation. ### Maintenance of Other Softener Components Inspect the softener's brine tank to ensure the brine concentration is appropriate, the brine pipes are unblocked, and the brine suction device is functioning properly. Check the softener's inlet and outlet pipes and valves monthly to prevent blockages or damage caused by hardness ion scaling, ensuring the valves operate flexibly and without leakage. #

# III. Pure Water Preparation System Maintenance (If Reverse Osmosis, etc., is Included)

 ### Reverse Osmosis Membrane Maintenance If the equipment includes a reverse osmosis system, check the operating parameters of the reverse osmosis membrane every 1-3 months, such as salt rejection rate, water production volume, and pressure difference. When the salt rejection rate decreases beyond a certain threshold, water production decreases, or the pressure difference increases, perform chemical cleaning promptly. During cleaning, select appropriate cleaning agents and strictly follow operating procedures to control the concentration, temperature, and duration of the cleaning solution to avoid membrane damage. ### High-Pressure Pump Maintenance Check the operating condition of the high-pressure pump monthly, including sound, vibration, and sealing. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, shut down for inspection. Check the pump's inlet and outlet pressures to ensure they are within the normal operating range. Replace the pump's lubricating oil every 3-6 months, and inspect the wear of key components such as the impeller and shaft seal. #

# IV. Post-Treatment System Maintenance #

## Pure Water Storage and Delivery Inspect the breather of the pure water storage tank to ensure it functions properly, preventing contamination of the pure water by external air. Regularly clean and disinfect the tank to prevent microbial growth. Check the pipes and valves delivering pure water to ensure no leaks or contamination, and that the valves operate flexibly. ### Disinfection and Sterilization Equipment Maintenance For ultraviolet sterilizers, check the UV lamp intensity every 3-6 months; replace the lamp promptly if the intensity is insufficient, and clean any surface dirt on the lamp. For other disinfection equipment, inspect the operation of the disinfectant dosing system to ensure normal disinfectant concentration and dosage. #

# V. Control System Maintenance Regularly clean dust from the electrical control cabinet, check the connections of electrical components for tightness, and look for signs of overheating or discoloration. Perform functional tests on relays, contactors, etc., in the control cabinet to ensure proper operation. Inspect the sensors and instruments of the control system, calibrate their measurements, and ensure data accuracy and reliability. Additionally, check the grounding of the control system to ensure electrical safety of the equipment.
