The AC-S6 concrete binder reduction agent continuously disperses particles that the water reducer failed to disperse through the physical dispersion of flocculated structures and aggregates in the cementitious materials. It increases the surface area of the hydration reaction body, enhances the reactivity of the binder particles, thereby improving the encapsulation and cohesiveness of the gel materials, and effectively increases the utilization rate of cementitious materials in concrete. This reduces the amount of cementitious materials in concrete, decreases the water demand per cubic meter of concrete, achieving active binder reduction and passive water reduction effects, effectively lowering the overall cost of concrete.
When cement comes into contact with water, it forms a three-dimensional structure due to mutual attraction under electrostatic forces and other effects, known as a flocculated structure. | Water reducers can disrupt the flocculated structure, releasing the water trapped within it, thereby reducing water usage and increasing fluidity. However, water reducers only partially disperse the weaker flocculated structures, while some smaller, stronger flocculated structures (aggregates) still remain. | Concrete binder reduction agents can further disperse these stronger flocculated structures (aggregates), increasing the contact area between these particles and water, thereby improving the utilization rate of cement. |
