The HS400 Planetary Ball Mill is a stable, high-performance instrument capable of grinding samples down to the micron/nanometer level. Operating Principle
When the instrument is started, the electric motor drives the common sun wheel to rotate. The grinding jars, positioned eccentrically on the sun wheel, rotate in the opposite direction. The grinding jars, grinding balls, and samples are subjected to the combined motion of the sun wheel's revolution and the jars' counter-rotation, enhanced by rotational bias forces. This generates significant kinetic energy in the grinding balls, causing them and the samples to follow different trajectories, resulting in continuous strong impact and friction for highly efficient grinding and crushing.Technical Characteristics

l (1) Planetary wheel adopts a double-locking mechanism: high-pressure insertion into the groove followed by bottom screw cap locking. Prevents disconnection even under high input capacity, eliminating accidents.

l (3) Grinding jar fixing handle features an anti-reverse gear design, preventing loosening even at high speeds. To remove the jar, simply lift the release valve for easy detachment.
