Operating Principle

The HS800 Disc Mill grinds samples through the pressure and friction generated between a rotating disc and a fixed disc. The sample enters the grinding chamber, is pre-crushed in the central area of the disc, and then moves outward to the periphery due to centrifugal force, where it is further finely ground. The ground sample falls through the gap between the grinding discs into the sample collection container.
