Material and high-temperature tempering of marking plates: The materials used are gray iron 200-300 and ductile iron 400-300, with a working surface hardness of HB180-300. Grades: HT250, QT400-600. The quality of the cast iron and the high-temperature tempering treatment significantly impact the performance of marking plates: residual stress may cause deformation of the working surface, wear resistance may affect precision retention, or difficulty in scraping may result in inadequate surface roughness. Therefore, careful selection of cast iron materials and the use of high-temperature tempering to eliminate residual stress are essential. High-temperature tempering of marking plates is also known as stress relief annealing or low-temperature annealing, primarily used to eliminate residual stress. If these stresses are not removed, they can cause deformation or cracking of the marking plate over time or during subsequent machining and practical applications. Stress relief is typically achieved through high-temperature tempering, with an initial heating temperature of 600-700°C and a holding time of 2-8 hours, followed by furnace cooling or natural cooling in air. If the temperature exceeds 700°C or the holding time is too long, it may lead to graphitization, reducing the strength and hardness of the marking plate. After rough machining, a second tempering is performed at 500-550°C for 3-5 hours, followed by furnace cooling. This process eliminates all internal stress in the marking platform without altering the cast iron structure.
Specifications of marking plates: Sizes range from 100*100 mm to 3000*6000 mm. Custom specifications can be successfully manufactured according to user requirements to meet their needs.
