A capacitive differential pressure transmitter is a sensor used to measure the pressure difference of fluids (liquids or gases). It determines the pressure difference in the fluid medium by measuring the change in capacitance between two isolated electrodes. Capacitive differential pressure transmitters are widely used in industrial applications for fluid control, monitoring, and regulation systems, providing engineers with a solution for measuring pressure differences.

    The SDPT19 capacitive differential pressure transmitter developed by Chenqiong is used to measure the level, density, and pressure of liquids, gases, or steam, and then converts these measurements into a 4–20mA DC signal output. The smart type can communicate with a HART handheld device for configuration, monitoring, or integration with an upper computer to form a field monitoring system.

     The field-adjustable smart differential pressure transmitter is a new product developed by our company based on field requirements. It can operate without a handheld device, allowing on-site zero adjustment and configuration through button operations.

    Precautions:

    Before installing the differential pressure transmitter, it is essential to refer to the operation manual and follow the installation procedures. In particular, the pipeline must remain unobstructed, and improper operation must be avoided. Special attention should be paid to the following three points:

(1) Before use, the differential pressure transmitter must be recalibrated for its measurement range, characteristic drift, accuracy, static pressure error, etc.

(2) After installation and before operation, check the working pressure, working temperature, measurement range, drift, etc., of various transmitters to ensure they match the actual conditions. If discrepancies are found, the cause must be identified and corrected before operation.

(3) During startup and shutdown, avoid subjecting the instrument to unidirectional static pressure.
