1 Overview

1.1KD-2C Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator is a low-frequency electrotherapy device with two *identical and independent working units. Each unit has two output channels, providing a total of four output channels for the instrument.

This device applies bidirectional asymmetric low-frequency pulse currents to the human body through skin electrodes (or via electro-acupuncture at acupoints) to treat acute and chronic pain. This method is known as transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy.

1.2 Instrument Functions:

a) Use built-in prescriptions to select parameters such as frequency, pulse width, treatment mode, and timing. There are 0-50 built-in prescriptions available for selection. Selecting a prescription chooses a set of parameters that can be directly used or modified before operation. Modified parameters are automatically saved in that prescription for future use.

b) Output includes 10 treatment modes   M=M0-M9

1) Continuous wave M0: -/- , ;

2) Dense-sparse wave M1: F-F/2 , where: F is the frequency value   ;

3) Intermittent wave ;

c) Multiple combinations of pulse width and pulse frequency are available. Each channel's current is independent and can be continuously adjusted synchronously or asynchronously;

d) All information of the working unit is displayed on the LCD screen;

1.3 Instrument Composition:

a) Consists of three parts: main unit, output cables, and electrodes;

b) Output cables include electro-acupuncture wires and electrode wires. Electrodes include round and square electrodes. Electrode accessories include adhesive electrodes, small round electrodes, and small conical electrodes;

c) Electrodes:

① Conductive rubber electrodes: square 40mm×80mm, round Φ40mm,

② Adhesive electrodes: 40mm×40mm, tail sleeve inner diameter: 2.5mm. Tolerance ±15%;

③ Both types of electrodes are products with medical device registration certificates.

2 Scope of Application

This instrument applies specific low-frequency pulses to the human body to treat acute and chronic pain, and can also be used for electro-acupuncture and electro-massage.

3 Main Technical Specifications

3.1 Output waveform: Non-polar bidirectional asymmetric pulse.

3.2 Output pulse width: Continuously adjustable from 20μS to 500μS, tolerance ±20%.

3.3 Output pulse frequency: Continuously adjustable from 2Hz to 160Hz, tolerance ±10%.

3.4 Output current: Each channel of the therapy device operates independently. With a 1kΩ load resistance, the peak output current Ip per channel is continuously adjustable from 0mA to 99mA. Maximum output value tolerance ±30%.

3.5 Timer setting: Continuously adjustable from 5 minutes to 9 hours 55 minutes, in 5-minute increments. Allowable deviation ±10%.

3.6 Continuous operation time: Not less than 4 hours.
