| Physical and Chemical Properties | The pure product is a white crystalline solid, odorless. m.p. 232–233°C, vapor pressure 1.26×10-3Pa (25°C), pKa 2.94. Soluble in acetone (1.6g/L), chloroform, dichloromethane; insoluble in water (91mg/L). Stable for 2 years under normal storage conditions. Its methyl ester is crystalline. m.p. 56–57°C, vapor pressure 0.014×10-3Pa (25°C). Solubility at 20°C: dichloromethane 896g/L, acetone 867g/L, ethyl acetate 792g/L, toluene 735g/L, xylene 642g/L, methanol 469g/L, hexane 45g/L. Partition coefficient 6140. Stable under normal storage; decomposes above melting point. Hydrolysis half-lives: 9.8d (pH=5), 17.5d (pH=7), and 10.2d (pH=9). |

Applied post-emergence, sensitive crops show characteristic hormone herbicide reactions. It has a broad application window in cereal crops, and can be used in wheat, barley, corn, grapes, orchards, pastures, and forest farms to control broadleaf weeds such as cleavers, field bindweed, shepherd's purse, chickweed, prostrate pigweed, purslane, etc. |

| Downstream Products | Pyridineoxyacetic acid herbicide. It has systemic translocation and exhibits typical hormone-type herbicide responses. Applied post-emergence, sensitive crops show characteristic hormone herbicide reactions. It has a broad application window in cereal crops, and can be used in wheat, barley, corn, grapes, orchards, pastures, and forest farms to control broadleaf weeds such as cleavers, field bindweed, shepherd's purse, chickweed, prostrate pigweed, purslane, etc., but is ineffective against grass weeds. For example, for winter wheat, apply during the green-up period after winter; for spring wheat, apply at the 2–4 leaf stage after weeds have fully emerged. Use 50% emulsifiable concentrate at 7.5–10mL/100m2, diluted with 4.5kg water, applied at the 2–4 leaf stage of weeds. This product can also be mixed with various other herbicides such as 2,4-D, MCPA, isoproturon, tribenuron-methyl, and cyanazine. |
