Pebax MV1074 - Arkema Antistatic Agent
Pebax MV1074 is a permanent antistatic material synthesized with special polyether segments based on polyamide. It is widely used in the electronics industry, industrial packaging, and plastic components for household and commercial appliances in cleanroom environments to prevent electrostatic discharge caused by static accumulation and micro-dust adsorption.
Pebax is used for antistatic modification of PA, ABS, ABS/PC, HIPS, PET, PC, PVC, PE, PP, etc.
Advantages of Pebax permanent antistatic agent over chemical antistatic agents:
2. Does not migrate; does not cause blooming of the masterbatch like chemical antistatic agents.
Forms a polymer network structure on the material surface, providing permanent antistatic properties. Chemical antistatic agents need to migrate to the polymer surface to be effective and are only short-term solutions.
3. Maintains antistatic performance even in low humidity environments, whereas chemical antistatic agents require higher humidity to function.
Immediately effective when blended into the polymer, while chemical antistatic agents require time and specific temperatures to develop antistatic properties.
