I. Overview
The COS type high-efficiency horizontal single-stage double-suction horizontally split centrifugal pump is a fifth-generation new product of double-suction split-case pumps developed by our company based on the introduction of foreign technology and in collaboration with domestic experts and professors with years of experience in pump research. This series of spectrum products offers a wider and broader performance range, advanced hydraulic models, reasonable and reliable structure, and more user-friendly considerations in maintenance, making operation and maintenance quick and easy for users.
II. Structural Type
1. The pump is installed horizontally, with the pump casing split horizontally along the axis. The upper part is the pump cover, and the lower part is the pump body. Both the suction and discharge ports are located on the pump body below the pump shaft, with their centerlines perpendicular to the axis. During maintenance, the pump cover can be opened and the rotor assembly removed without disassembling the inlet and outlet pipelines. The shaft seal uses soft packing or mechanical seals.
2. The COS series split-case pumps can be installed horizontally or vertically. For horizontal pumps, the drive end can be set on the left or right side according to user requirements. Flange holes can be configured according to GB standards, ISO standards, DIN standards, BS standards, or ASI standards.
3. Horizontal pumps use grease-lubricated ball bearings at both ends, and an oil-lubricated structure can also be selected. Vertical pumps use grease-lubricated ball bearings at the upper end and medium-lubricated silicon carbide wear-resistant sliding bearings at the lower end.
4. Depending on user requirements, the pump can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.
III. Applications
The COS series pumps are suitable for water plants, irrigation, drainage pump stations, power stations, industrial water supply systems, fire protection systems, ship systems, and are also suitable for general purposes in the petroleum refining industry.
