TRWK-2000 Microcomputer Sulfur-Chlorine Analyzer


Product Introduction

The microcoulometric sulfur analyzer applies the dynamic microcoulometric method principle, using the oxidation method to convert various forms of sulfur (chlorine) in the sample into sulfur dioxide (all converted to HCl) at high temperatures in nitrogen and oxygen, which then enters the titration cell. Through electrolysis, iodine is generated to react with sulfur dioxide (in the cell, silver ions are generated through electrolysis to react with chloride ions). The microcomputer automatically calculates the total sulfur content (total chlorine content) in the sample based on the electricity consumed by the generated iodine (or silver ions). The entire analysis process is controlled by a computer, with samples loaded by an automatic sampler, making the instrument highly automated. It can be used for the analysis of trace sulfur or chlorine in petrochemical products and is widely applied in industries such as petroleum, chemical, scientific research, education, quality inspection, and commodity inspection.

Instructions for Use

Turn on the power of the microcomputer sulfur-chlorine analyzer host, computer, temperature flow controller, and stirrer in sequence.

Place the prepared titration cell on the platform inside the stirrer, adjust the height of the stirrer so that the capillary inlet of the titration cell aligns with the outlet of the quartz tube, and secure it with a stainless steel clamp. Adjust the position of the titration cell to ensure the stirrer operates smoothly, taking care that the stirrer does not touch the cell wall.

Connect the electrode wires of the amplifier to the terminals of the titration cell (reference, measurement, anode, cathode) according to the markings, ensuring good contact.

Seal the clean quartz tube with a silicone pad and place it in the cracking furnace. Connect the various gas inlet branches of the quartz cracking tube to the corresponding gas ports on the back panel of the temperature flow controller using polytetrafluoroethylene tubes (Φ3). Note: Do not mix up the nitrogen and oxygen inlets and outlets.
