Celanese is one of the world's leading emulsion producers, with 10 emulsion plants established and operating across Asia, Europe, and China. The polymer emulsions produced at these plants include vinyl acetate/ethylene (VAE), polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), pure acrylic, and acrylic-based polymers. All products manufactured at these facilities meet world-class quality standards.
The newly constructed emulsion production unit by Celanese in Nanjing commenced operations in September 2007, forming an integral part of Celanese's integrated chemical production base. The new plant supplies high-performance, environmentally friendly emulsions to customers across the Asian region, serving markets such as adhesives, construction, nonwovens, glass fibers, and architectural coatings.

Main Applications of Celvolit CP143:
Celvolit CP143 is a high-performance vinyl acetate/ethylene (VAE) emulsion with excellent adhesion to difficult-to-bond substrates and coated surfaces. It has been successfully used in developing adhesives for various special conditions, such as varnished surfaces, UV-resistant panels, treated polyethylene and stretched polypropylene films, polystyrene and cellulose acetate, foils, epichlorohydrin (EPI), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) laminates. Celvolit CP143 can also be used for book covers, window envelopes, and folding box adhesives. It is suitable for both wet and dry laminating. Adhesives formulated with Celvolit CP143 perform well on many coating machines, offer fast curing speeds, and exhibit excellent final strength.
