Description

A pneumatic rubber-lined diaphragm valve is a valve that combines pneumatic control technology with a rubber-lined diaphragm structure. It consists of a piston-type pneumatic actuator and a diaphragm valve, using compressed air as the power source to drive the transmission screw, causing the valve core to move up and down while pulling the diaphragm to move up and down for opening and closing. Additionally, feedback signal devices, limit switches, or positioning devices can be attached as needed to suit automatic control, program control, remote control, or flow regulation purposes.

Structural Composition

The pneumatic rubber-lined diaphragm valve mainly consists of the valve body, valve cover, diaphragm, valve stem, and pneumatic actuator.

Valve Body: Typically made of materials such as cast iron, cast steel, or stainless steel, it serves as the main part of the valve and contains the fluid passage.

Valve Cover: Connects to the valve body, providing sealing and protection for internal components.

Diaphragm: Usually made of elastic materials like rubber, offering excellent corrosion resistance. The diaphragm isolates the fluid from the pneumatic actuator, ensuring no fluid leakage into the actuator.

Valve Stem: Connects the diaphragm and the pneumatic actuator, transmitting power to move the diaphragm, thereby controlling the valve's opening and closing.

Pneumatic Actuator: Composed of components such as a cylinder, piston, and spring, it drives the piston movement via compressed air, which in turn moves the valve stem and diaphragm.

Working Principle

When compressed air enters the cylinder of the pneumatic actuator, it pushes the piston to move, driving the valve stem upward or downward. The movement of the valve stem deforms the diaphragm, changing the size of the fluid passage to achieve valve opening and closing. When the pneumatic actuator loses air pressure, the spring force returns the valve to its initial position.
