I. How to Install the Safety Valve:

1. The safety valve must be installed vertically and directly on the connector of the container or pipeline. The inner diameter of the connector should not be less than the inlet diameter of the safety valve.

2. The outlet of the safety valve must be equipped with an appropriate expansion joint to prevent the thermal expansion of the discharge pipe from imposing undue thermal stress on the safety valve. The inner diameter of the discharge pipe should be larger than the outlet diameter of the valve, and its length should be as short as possible, avoiding bends. The weight of the discharge pipe and expansion joint should not act on the safety valve but should be fixed to the structure. The distance between the centerline of the discharge pipe and the centerline of the valve body should be as short as possible. Each safety valve should have its own separate discharge pipe.

II. Safety Valve Structure:

Safety valves are mainly divided into two categories: spring-type and lever-type. Spring-type safety valves rely on the force of the spring to seal the disc and seat.
