The mesh is woven from bidirectional curved low-carbon steel wires, featuring diamond-shaped apertures and excellent elasticity, capable of cushioning high-speed impacts from balls (such as soccer and basketball). Breakage of a single wire does not affect the overall structure, making it the most widely used type. The low-carbon steel wire is surface-treated with hot-dip galvanization (zinc layer thickness ≥80μm, anti-corrosion lifespan 15-20 years) or cold galvanization (zinc layer 5-20μm, lifespan 5-8 years). An outer layer can be added with PE/PVC plastic coating (thickness 0.7-1.2mm, colors available include grass green, dark green, blue, with weather resistance increased by 3 times, suitable for long-term outdoor exposure). The posts and horizontal bars are surface-coated or galvanized for anti-corrosion.
