1. The working surface shall be free from rust, scratches, bumps, and other appearance defects that affect usage.
2. The working surface shall not have casting defects such as sand holes, blowholes, cracks, slag inclusions, or shrinkage porosity. All casting surfaces shall be cleaned of molding sand, be flat, and have firmly applied paint. All edges shall be deburred. On platforms with an accuracy grade lower than "00", sand holes with a diameter less than 15mm may be plugged with the same material, provided the hardness of the plug is lower than that of the surrounding material. There shall be no more than four plugged areas on the working surface, and the distance between them shall not be less than 80mm.
3. On opposite sides, threaded holes or cylindrical holes for installing handles, lifting rings, and other hoisting facilities shall be provided. The design of hoisting positions should minimize deformation caused by lifting.
4. If threaded holes or grooves are added to the plate working surface as per user requirements, these areas should not protrude above the working surface.
5. It shall be made of high-quality fine-grained gray cast iron or alloy cast iron.
6. The hardness of the working surface shall be HB 170-220.
7. The working surface shall be finished by scraping; for "Grade 3" platforms, planing is also acceptable. The surface roughness of the planed working surface, measured by the arithmetic average deviation Ra, shall not exceed 5μm.
8. It shall undergo stabilization treatment and demagnetization.
