Non-Oxidizing Biocide and Algaecide

Haolang Non-Oxidizing Biocide and Algaecide is a highly effective non-oxidizing dual cationic quaternary ammonium salt biocide. It contains multiple high-efficiency bactericidal components, providing broad-spectrum biocidal and algicidal properties. It rapidly penetrates the thickened cell walls of bacteria that have developed drug resistance, ensuring strong and long-lasting bactericidal effects even in recirculating water systems where resistance has emerged.

Product Features:

1. The non-oxidizing biocide and algaecide offers broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, rapid action, low foaming, and long-lasting efficacy. It exhibits strong bactericidal and excellent penetration and stripping effects across various pH ranges, with low dosing concentrations, prolonged effectiveness, and no development of resistance.

2. Based on equipment environmental conditions, season, temperature, and calculated dosage, the recommended addition amount is 300-500 mg/L. The bactericidal capability at 100 mg/L exceeds that of 150 mg/L of 1227 in terms of sterilization and algae control.

3. It does not induce microbial resistance, eliminating the need for alternating between two agents, as required with other biocides to avoid resistance development.

Widely used as a biocide, algaecide, and stripping agent in industrial recirculating water systems in sectors such as petrochemicals, fertilizer manufacturing, power generation, and steel plants. It can also serve as a biocide for oilfield water injection.

Operational Precautions:

Wear latex gloves, protective goggles, and protective clothing. If splashed into the eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek prompt medical attention. Prevent spillage on cement surfaces to avoid corrosion; if the ground is affected, rinse immediately with water.
