WQHX-1 Coal Reactivity Tester
I. Overview The WQHX-1 Coal Reactivity Tester is used to determine the chemical reactivity of coal and coke with carbon dioxide, i.e., the reduction capability of coal towards carbon dioxide under specific high-temperature conditions. This instrument features fast heating speed, excellent thermal insulation, accurate and sensitive temperature control, and complies with the requirements of GB/T 220-2001 "Determination of Chemical Reactivity of Coal to Carbon Dioxide". It is suitable for use in coal, chemical, building materials, power, metallurgy, geological exploration, and scientific research departments. III. Instrument Structure and Main Features The instrument consists of three main parts: the carbon dioxide purification system, the reaction furnace, and the gas analyzer: 1. Purification System: Includes a carbon dioxide pressure-stabilizing gas storage cylinder, manometer, gas washing bottle, gas drying tower, and gas flow meter. 2. Reaction Furnace: A vertical tube furnace with silicon carbide tubes, capable of reaching heating temperatures up to 1350°C,
equipped with a quartz reaction tube resistant to temperatures up to 1500°C. Temperature control is achieved using the SW-2 digital display temperature controller, which offers high control accuracy, clear readings, and no parallax. It provides automatic constant temperature control across the full range of 0–1600°C, making operation very convenient. 3. Gas Analyzer: Measurement range of 0-100

Coal Reactivity Tester Features Coal reactivity is one of the indicators characterizing the chemical stability and surface area of coal, closely related to gasification and combustion. Coal with high reactivity has strong reduction capability, reacts quickly and efficiently during gasification and combustion, especially for some
new gasification processes such as fluidized bed gasification. Coal reactivity directly affects the reaction conditions of coal in the furnace, coal consumption, and the effective components in the gas. In new technologies of fluidized combustion and gasification, reactivity is also closely related to the reaction speed of coal in the furnace. Therefore, reactivity is an important indicator of gasification and combustion characteristics.
