IV. Usage Method:

This product can be directly added during use, or first added to a dissolution tank at a concentration of 10-20%, stirred, and then pumped into the reaction tank. This product is suitable for a wide pH range, with particularly good results under acidic conditions. The dosage is about 100-1000 ppm (i.e., 0.1-1 kg/ton of wastewater), varying depending on the phosphate content in the wastewater. The specific dosage is generally determined through experiments.

For experiments, take a certain amount of raw water, add an appropriate amount of this product (e.g., 500 ppm), adjust the wastewater pH to 7-8, add a small amount of polyacrylamide (PAM) for flocculation and sedimentation, filter to obtain the supernatant, and measure the phosphorus content. (If heavy metal treatment is needed, perform secondary treatment with the supernatant.)

Thoroughly mix FeCl3 and AlCl3 solutions, then add NaOH solution with a molar ratio of 3:2:14. After mixing, reacting, and settling, filter out the product and wash repeatedly with water until the effluent is neutral. Dry at 100-110°C and form into uniformly sized granular adsorbent. The application of this adsorbent involves adding an adsorption phosphorus removal process to conventional water treatment. The adsorption phosphorus removal process consists of 2-4 phosphorus removal adsorption tanks in series. The structure of the phosphorus removal adsorption tank is similar to that of a filter, using granular composite iron-aluminum phosphorus removal adsorbent as the filter material, with a particle size range of 0.5mm-0.8mm, an adsorption layer thickness of 1.0-1.5m, a hydraulic loading of 5m/h-8m/h, and an empty bed contact time of 30-40 minutes. This adsorbent has a wide range of applications for phosphorus removal, excellent pollution removal efficiency, simple regeneration, low raw material cost, and is easily obtainable and safe.
