(3) Operating Principle

The heat-absorbing film layer inside the flat plate collector converts the absorbed solar radiation into thermal energy, causing the temperature of the working medium in the collector's heat exchange tube to continuously rise. Utilizing the characteristic that hot liquid has low density and cold liquid has high density, through the circulation pipeline, a natural circulation is formed between the collector and the water tank, with cold water moving from top to bottom and hot water from bottom to top. Through this circulation, the water in the tank gradually heats up. Since the working medium in the flat plate collector is an anti-low temperature liquid, it can remain unfrozen at temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it can operate normally all year round, even in extremely cold regions.
