1. Product Model

• GJZ 450×450×99: Indicates a planar size of 450mm×450mm and a total thickness of 99mm.
• GJZ: Stands for "Building Isolation Rubber Bearing" (National Standard GB 20688.3).

2. Structural Composition

• Multi-layer rubber and steel plate lamination: Made by alternately vulcanizing and bonding natural rubber or high-damping rubber with steel plates, providing vertical load-bearing capacity and horizontal deformation capability.
• Upper and lower connecting plates: Typically pre-embedded steel plates or bolts used to connect with building structures (columns, walls) and foundations.

3. Technical Parameters

• Vertical load-bearing capacity: Determined based on design loads (e.g., 1,500kN~3,000kN).
• Horizontal deformation capability: Maximum shear deformation can reach 100%~200%.
• Applicable temperature range: -30℃~+60℃.
• Damping performance: Standard type (natural rubber) or high-damping type (HDRB).

4. Application Scenarios

II. Construction and Installation Guide

1. Pre-installation Preparation

• Check the bearing: Verify the model, dimensions, quality inspection report, and confirm no transportation damage.
• Foundation acceptance: Ensure the installation surface flatness ≤2mm/m and accurate positioning of pre-embedded components.
• Layout and marking: Mark the centerline and edges of the bearing according to design drawings.

2. Installation Steps

1. Hoisting into position: Use a crane to gently place the bearing at the design location, avoiding collisions.
2. Alignment adjustment: Use jacks or shims for fine-tuning to ensure the center deviation of the bearing from the axis is ≤5mm.
3. Temporary fixation: Weld or bolt temporarily to prevent displacement.
4. Welding/bolt connection:
   • Welding: Perform continuous full welding on pre-embedded steel plates, with weld grades meeting design requirements.
   • Bolt connection: Tighten high-strength bolts to the design torque and apply anti-rust treatment.
5. Acceptance inspection: Check verticality, levelness, and connection quality.

3. Precautions

• Tilted installation is strictly prohibited: The upper and lower plates of the bearing must remain parallel.
• Protect the rubber layer: Avoid damage from welding sparks, oil stains, or sharp objects.
• Environmental requirements: Installation should preferably be done at temperatures ≥5℃, avoiding rain or snow.

4. Maintenance and Inspection

• Construction phase: Regularly check if the bearing is deformed due to construction loads.
• Usage phase: Annually inspect for rubber aging, cracking, and bolt loosening.
