III. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Usage Precautions
A.Equipment Preparation
Before using the glow wire tester, ensure the equipment is in proper condition. Check the following points:
1. Whether the equipment power supply is normal.
2. Whether the switches on the control panel are turned off.
3. Whether the glow wire is clean.
4. If the glow wire needs to be replaced, use the correct model.
B. Experimental Operation
When performing experimental operations, adhere to the following precautions:
1. The glow wire tester requires a heating period to reach a stable state. Wait for the equipment to preheat before starting the test.
2. Before testing, calibrate the length and diameter of the glow wire. This operation must be performed by the instrument operator.
3. Ensure the material sample to be tested is thoroughly dry. Damp samples may affect the accuracy of test results.
4. After the test begins, wait sufficient time for the glow wire and sample to balance before conducting the test. This process requires the instrument operator.
5. After the experimental operation is completed, promptly turn off the glow wire tester and remove the test sample.
C. Safe Operation
When performing experimental operations, pay special attention to the following safety measures:
1. Before operating the experiment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves, goggles, etc.
2. During the experiment, do not get too close to the equipment.
3. The power plug interface should be on a dry surface and kept clean and dry.
4. Avoid high ambient temperatures or humidity to prevent affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
5. Do not disassemble or move the instrument arbitrarily during use.
