1. Introduction to Cleaning Agents

Liquid chemicals or preparations used in industrial production and service activities to remove dirt (including grease, paint, ink, gum, carbon deposits, dust, etc.) from the surfaces of devices, equipment, facilities, and products, based on principles such as chemical dissolution, complexation, wetting, penetration, dispersion, solubilization, and stripping.

3. Scope of Application

Cleaning agents containing volatile organic compounds used in industrial production and service activities.

Not applicable to cleaning agents used in aerospace, nuclear industry, military industry, and semiconductor manufacturing.

4. Classification of Cleaning Agents

Based on the composition of cleaning agents, they are classified into water-based cleaning agents, semi-water-based cleaning agents, and organic solvent cleaning agents.

Water-based cleaning agents: Cleaning agents composed of water, surfactants, and additives.

Semi-water-based cleaning agents: Stable or metastable cleaning agents composed of water, surfactants, organic solvents, and additives.

Organic solvent cleaning agents: Cleaning agents composed of one or more organic solvents.
