I. Core Functions and Working Principle
Automatic Opening and Closing Control
When the coal injection lance is inserted into the blast furnace tuyere, the steel ball inside the valve is lifted, opening the channel to allow pulverized coal injection. After the lance is withdrawn, the steel ball automatically closes under the pressure inside the furnace (approximately 0.6 MPa) and gravity, preventing the leakage of high-temperature gases (up to 1500°C).
Quick connection with the coal injection lance via a quick-connect coupling ensures high operational efficiency.
Safety Assurance
Prevents backflow of hot blast furnace gas, avoiding damage to the injection system and ensuring personnel safety.
