Compatible Topcoats Epoxy topcoat, epoxy rubber topcoat, polyurethane topcoat, epoxy glass flake anti-corrosion paint, etc.

Surface Preparation· Steel with scale: Treated by shot blasting or sandblasting to Sa2.5 grade. In areas where sandblasting is not feasible, mechanical grinding or chemical treatment should be used to remove all loose debris, achieving a surface roughness of 75–100 μm. The surface must be clean, dry, rust-free, and dust-free.

· Steel without scale: Sandblasted to Sa2.5 or mechanically ground with pneumatic or electric tools to St3 grade.

· Steel with shop primer: Light sweep blasting or pneumatic (electric) tools for secondary rust removal to St3 grade.

· Welded, cut, or heat-corrected areas: Remove welding slag and spatter, grind smooth, and then polish with an elastic grinding wheel to St3 grade.

Substrate Temperature· Substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point.

· When the substrate temperature is below 10°C, the curing reaction between epoxy and hardener slows down. In such cases, a low-temperature hardener may be used.
