I. Usage of Rust Preventive Water:

(1) For long-term rust prevention, the inhibitor content can be higher.

(2) For room temperature immersion coating, the content should be higher; for hot dip coating, spraying, and full immersion, the content should be lower.

(3) For rust prevention of cast iron parts, the content should be higher; for steel parts, the content can be lower.

(4) During high temperature and rainy seasons, the content should be higher; during dry and cold seasons, the content can be lower.

(5) For the water used in preparing rust preventive water, tap water is generally acceptable. When water quality is good, the content can be lower; when the water contains more insoluble solid particles and chlorides, the content should be higher.

II. Precautions for Using Rust Preventive Water:

1. Pay attention to the adaptability of rust preventive water solutions to various metals. Ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals should be treated separately.

2. When oil is used in the preceding or following processes, rust preventive water should not be used for rust prevention.

3. Pay attention to the discharge issues of rust preventive water.
