Properties: White to creamy white powder, relative density 1.14 g/cm3. Melting point not less than 178°C. Soluble in ethanol, benzene, and chloroform; insoluble in water. Stable in storage.
Uses: An ultra-accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and latex. It has a lower vulcanization activation temperature and can replace ZDBC, ZDEC, PZ, etc., with better processing safety. Notably, it does not produce carcinogenic nitrosamines during rubber processing. It can also serve as an excellent activator for thiazole accelerators. When using this product, the amounts of zinc oxide and sulfur are generally standard, and fatty acids may or may not be used. It can be directly added to the rubber compound or incorporated as a dispersion into latex.
Storage: Store sealed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight.
