LC-TS5 Molten Iron Quality Management Instrument

I. Introduction

Used for rapid determination of carbon equivalent (CEL), carbon content (C%), silicon content (Si%), and manganese content (Mn%) in gray cast iron and ductile cast iron molten iron at the furnace front; predicts the tensile strength of ordinary gray cast iron. Non-professionals can operate it after simple training; equipped with multiple detection lines (i.e., material or product names, which users can add arbitrarily according to their company's actual situation). Selecting the appropriate detection line for different grades of molten iron and the actual conditions of each factory can make the detection results more accurate.

II. Main Functions

1. Determination of carbon (C%), silicon (Si%), manganese (Mn%), and carbon equivalent (CEL);

2. Prediction of tensile strength and hardness of gray cast iron;

3. Determination of tensile strength and hardness of gray cast iron molten iron after inoculation, predicting inoculation effect;

4. After composition determination, the system automatically calculates the adjustment amount of alloy addition based on the target values of carbon, silicon, and manganese content preset by the user;

5. Automatic saving of measurement results;

6. Historical cooling curves and historical measurement results can be reproduced at any time;

7. Measurement data can be exported to EXCEL, for data analysis, or copied via USB interface to office computers for storage and analysis;

III. Special Features

1. After composition determination, users can modify the target values of carbon, silicon, and manganese content according to product requirements to recalculate the adjustment amount of alloy addition, making the adjusted molten iron composition better meet product requirements.

2. Determination of tensile strength and hardness of gray cast iron molten iron after inoculation, with higher result accuracy.

3. Rapid testing of nodularity of ductile cast iron molten iron at the furnace front or on the pouring line.
