Advantages
The Membrane Disc Fine Bubble Diffuser is a new type of aeration device developed in the 1980s. It features small bubble diameter, large gas-liquid interface area, uniform bubble diffusion, no clogging of pores, and strong corrosion resistance. Tests conducted by the School of Environmental Engineering at Tongji University in Shanghai and the North China Municipal Engineering Design Institute on clean water and wastewater oxygenation, along with over 50 users' years of successful operation, demonstrate excellent performance (40% energy savings compared to conventional products like fixed spiral aerators, radial flow aerators, and perforated pipe aerators, or a 40% increase in wastewater treatment capacity). It is particularly suitable for new and expanded urban sewage and large industrial plant projects, as well as the renovation of old aeration tanks, and allows for intermittent operation of the aeration tank.
Aeration Pipeline Connection and Installation
The aeration system consists of diffusers, air distribution pipes, tees, crosses, elbows, regulators, connecting rods, and cleaning devices. The air distribution pipes are typically arranged in a circular layout. The density of diffusers is based on air supply and tank shape. Diffusers and air distribution pipes are connected via G3/4 threaded joints, with the base having internal threads (fixed to the air distribution pipe) and the diffuser having external threads. During installation, first secure the regulator to the tank bottom with expansion bolts according to the required dimensions, then fasten the air distribution pipe to the regulator with clamps. To prevent damage from other activities, such as welding sparks and heavy objects like concrete during construction, the diffusers must be installed after civil works are completed and before filling with water. To check for leaks in pipes and connections, fill the tank with water to a depth of about 10 cm above the diffusers and test for leaks.
