LIA-MV-150-S Lock-in Amplifier Design Concept:
Amplifier settings, such as phase, gain, and time constant, are controlled either directly on the amplifier module or externally using a standard digital I/O computer board switch. The variable operating frequency is determined by an external reference signal, such as the synchronization signal of a chopper or the modulation signal of a laser. The current input is well-suited for amplifying signals from high-impedance sources, such as diodes and PMTs, while the voltage output can be used to measure low-impedance sources like pyros or coils.
