The GEW-CT-NKG series activated carbon adsorption + CO catalytic combustion engineering machine is based on the strong adsorption capacity of the highly porous solid adsorbent—activated carbon—for industrial organic waste gases such as benzene, alcohols, ketones, and aldehydes. It integrates an economical and practical organic waste gas purification and treatment system, designed with a purification adsorption bed based on gas flow filtration principles and a thermal decomposition unit based on thermal catalytic oxidation decomposition principles.

Working Principle

The environmental centrifugal fan draws large-volume, low-concentration organic waste gas into the activated carbon adsorption bed, where it is fully purified (adsorbed) through contact with the layered honeycomb activated carbon. The activated carbon gradually accumulates and concentrates a large amount of organic waste, while clean gas is discharged into the atmosphere. High-temperature gas generated by the combustion device is passed through a heat exchanger and then introduced into the activated carbon adsorption bed, causing the internal organic waste to vaporize at 90°C and escape from the pores of the activated carbon. At this point, the waste gas concentration is far higher than the initial adsorption concentration. It then enters the catalytic combustion unit (350°C) for oxidative decomposition into harmless gases such as CO? and H?O. The gas passes through the heat exchanger to transfer heat for reuse in desorption before being discharged into the atmosphere, completing the entire purification process.
