Since seawater is a complex electrolyte solution containing a certain amount of dissolved oxygen, the principles of electrochemical corrosion apply to seawater corrosion. Most metal materials undergo depolarization corrosion in seawater, meaning oxygen acts as a depolarizing agent. Therefore, marine solenoid valves must be able to withstand seawater corrosion.

Working Principle:
